What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for the full Roku development lifecycle - from architecture through App Store release and ongoing maintenance. Day-to-day that looks like building and maintaining high-quality Roku applications in BrightScript and SceneGraph, translating Figma designs into pixel-accurate implementations, and developing custom components within an existing SDK.

You'll partner closely with product and design, contribute to incident management, and keep a close eye on CTV trends to make sure the team stays ahead of the curve.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in software development overall, with at least 3 years of hands-on commercial Roku development
• Solid proficiency in BrightScript and modern Roku/SceneGraph development
• Experience in a multi-developer Roku environment - including managing App Store builds, submissions, and deployments
• Comfortable integrating with HTTP and socket-based data APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, gRPC, etc.)
• Familiarity with Charles Proxy and Roku SDK development is a strong plus
• Experience with CI/build infrastructure and tooling for platform-specific pipelines is a bonus
• Strong communicator who can work across engineering, product, and ops teams
• Solid grasp of testing practices - unit testing, code coverage, integration testing, alerting, and monitoring
• Genuine interest in the OTT/CTV landscape and where it's heading
