Senior Backend Engineer | Streaming Platform (x2 Openings)

We're working with a leading player in the OTT/Streaming space to fill two Senior Backend Engineer positions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and implementing backend software applications at scale
• Supporting and maintaining software applications and operating systems
• Participating in testing processes including test review, analysis, and certification
• Owning complex technical tasks with a high degree of autonomy and creativity

The Non-Negotiables

• Languages — TypeScript or Scala/Java (strong production experience required)
• Databases — DynamoDB and DocumentDB
• Streaming — Kafka
• Caching — Redis
• Cloud — AWS (broad, hands-on production experience)
• Observability — DataDog, Splunk, or similar SRE tooling

Your Background

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven ability to work independently on complex systems with minimal guidance
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture
• Comfortable owning delivery end-to-end across the full development lifecycle
