I'm currently supporting a well-established international media organisation in the search for a Vice President of Broadcast to lead and evolve their broadcast operations, technology strategy, and content delivery capabilities.

This is a rare opportunity to join a senior leadership team and play a key role in defining how premium content is delivered to audiences across traditional broadcast and emerging digital platforms.

As VP of Broadcast, you will provide strategic leadership across broadcast operations, engineering, transmission, playout, and media workflows, ensuring reliable, scalable, and future-ready delivery across a multi-channel environment.

You'll work closely with executive stakeholders to drive operational excellence, technology transformation, and long-term broadcast strategy while leading high-performing technical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organisation's broadcast technology and operational strategy

• Lead broadcast operations, engineering, transmission, playout, and content delivery functions

• Drive modernisation initiatives across broadcast and media infrastructure

• Oversee vendor relationships, technology partnerships, and major broadcast projects

• Ensure high levels of service availability, resilience, compliance, and operational performance

• Manage budgets, resource planning, and long-term investment strategies

• Build and develop high-performing technical and operational teams

• Collaborate with senior leadership to support business growth and audience expansion initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading broadcast operations and/or broadcast engineering teams at a senior level

• Strong understanding of broadcast workflows, playout, transmission, content delivery, and media operations

• Experience delivering large-scale technology transformation programmes

• Strong commercial awareness and budget ownership experience

• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making

• Track record of building and leading successful teams within complex media environments

• Experience within broadcasters, media organisations, streaming platforms, or broadcast technology providers
