Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective testing strategies for embedded systems in collaboration with developers, firmware engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead bootloader testing activities for both Development and Release QA environments, ensuring top-notch quality and reliability.
• Develop comprehensive test plans addressing functional, performance, security, and compatibility aspects.
• Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers, fostering growth and expertise.
• Drive defect management processes to ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of issues.
• Generate detailed test reports and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Required skills:

• 10+ years of experience in QA for device software, with expertise in QA processes and tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Linux, and bootloader/BL device driver testing.
• Deep understanding of bootloader processes, firmware development, and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools, scripting (Python or Java), and version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with ALM tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially in hardware interfaces and debugging tools for embedded systems.
