Are you a C++ engineer passionate about building high-performance video streaming systems used by millions of viewers?

A growing digital media and streaming technology company is looking for a Video Engineer to help develop and scale the systems that power large-scale video delivery. In this role, you’ll work on high-performance C++ services running in distributed environments, contributing to a custom CDN platform responsible for caching, packaging, DRM encryption, and delivering video content. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across video ingestion, playback, infrastructure and data systems, helping design scalable solutions, maintain data pipelines, debug complex production issues, and ensure reliable delivery of streaming content to end users.

Essential Skills Required

• Strong experience with modern C++ and high-performance system development
• Experience working with high-load distributed systems on Unix/Linux environments
• Understanding of video streaming technologies (e.g. HLS, DASH, FFmpeg)
• Experience debugging and maintaining production systems operating at scale
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
• Professional working proficiency in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with CDN architecture, caching strategies, or edge computing
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerised environments
• Experience with Go or Python in backend services
