Engineering Manager – (Video Streaming Industry Experience Required)

Salary Range: Up to €120,000

What if you could lead the team responsible for delivering live and on-demand video to millions of users; while shaping the architecture behind a large-scale streaming platform?

Lead and grow a team responsible for the systems that deliver video streams directly to end users. You’ll guide engineers building and operating a distributed CDN architecture, ensuring high reliability, performance, and quality of experience at scale. Alongside senior engineers, you will shape the technical roadmap, support architectural decisions, and help the team deliver robust, scalable services. You’ll collaborate closely with other platform teams working on video ingestion, playback, advertising infrastructure, and storage, while mentoring engineers and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and technical excellence. This is a leadership role with hands-on influence, where you’ll balance people leadership, delivery, and technical direction.

Required Skills

• Experience with video streaming systems, media platforms, or CDN technologies
• Experience leading or managing engineering teams
• Background building highly available, scalable services or APIs
• Strong engineering mindset with a focus on quality, testing, and maintainability
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication skills in English
• Solid programming experience with C++ (Go would be a bonus)
• Passion for mentoring engineers and developing high-performing teams
