Ready to design the platforms behind large-scale video streaming services?

We’re seeking a senior, hands-on Platform Architect to lead the architecture for complex video streaming and content platforms, while ensuring architectural consistency across multiple long-running transformation initiatives.

This is a delivery-focused, senior individual contributor role for an experienced architect working at the intersection of video streaming, OTT, and digital content platforms. You’ll spend the majority of your time embedded in client projects, shaping target architectures and acting as the architectural anchor across parallel initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define target architectures for large-scale video streaming, OTT, and content platforms
• Translate editorial, content supply chain, and distribution requirements into robust architecture designs
• Own system decomposition, API contracts, deployment models, and non-functional requirements such as scalability, latency, resilience, security, and observability
• Design hybrid and cloud-based architectures supporting VOD, live streaming, metadata, and rights-aware workflows
• Provide executive-level architecture inputs, including build-vs-buy options, cost and risk trade-offs, and roadmap scenarios
• Act as the architectural reference point across multiple streaming platform initiatives, ensuring consistency of principles and patterns

Skills and experience required

• Deep experience architecting video streaming, OTT, or large-scale media platforms
• Strong understanding of streaming architectures, content pipelines, APIs, and integration patterns
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem deployments for high-availability services
• Ability to lead architectural direction without formal people management responsibility
• Confident communicator with senior technical and business stakeholders
• Pragmatic, hands-on mindset with a strong focus on delivery and outcomes
