Role Overview:

What You'll Do:

• Engineering Excellence: Create and deliver cutting-edge software engineering tooling for our Global OTT platforms.
• Design Innovation: Contribute to the software and infrastructure design of our purpose-built platforms, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Code Resilience: Write robust code that undergoes continuous testing, deployment, and operation at scale across cloud, on-premise, and streaming devices.
• Agile Collaboration: Be an integral part of our self-organizing Agile team, fostering innovation and efficiency.
• Software Quality Advocacy: Actively enhance overall software quality while supporting and mentoring fellow team members.
• Technical Leadership: Contribute to the team's technical direction and the enhancement of tools and processes.
• Monitoring and Security Enhancement: Update and improve data monitoring and alerting solutions, bolstering the security of our client applications.

What You'll Bring:

• Stack Proficiency: Strong experience across the stack in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies like Kotlin and Go.
• Upskilling Potential: Ability to help upskill the team in Kotlin and Go would be a significant advantage.
• Development Best Practices: Good understanding of development best practices such as pair programming, TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Tooling Expertise: Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins, Concourse) and testing frameworks.
• Monitoring Mastery: Proficiency in alerting and monitoring KPIs through the creation of application dashboards.
• Cloud Experience: Industry experience with AWS or similar cloud technologies, including building, deploying, and managing virtual resources.
• Innovative Drive: Enthusiasm to drive new improvements across the codebase and influence a large developer community.
• Collaborative Spirit: Experience working closely with DevOps and SREs, coupled with effective communication skills to encourage collaboration and teamwork.
• Tech Enthusiasm: Passion for working with new technologies and designing innovative solutions from the ground up.
