Senior Director, CTV Engineering

We’re partnering with a high-growth streaming business entering its next phase of scale across Connected TV. With an established product in market and meaningful distribution already secured, the focus now shifts to engineering leadership, platform maturity, and monetisation optimisation across CTV environments.

We’re looking for a Senior Director of CTV Engineering to own the technical strategy and execution across Smart TV, device, and living room platforms.

What You’ll Own

• Technical leadership across CTV platforms (tvOS, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, Samsung, LG or similar)
• Architecture strategy for high-scale video delivery (playback, performance, resilience)
• Ad tech and monetisation integrations (SSAI/CSAI, measurement, attribution)
• Cross-functional alignment with Product, Data, Revenue and Distribution teams
• Scaling and mentoring a multi-disciplinary engineering team (in-house + distributed)
• Platform performance, app store ratings, release velocity and operational excellence

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years in software engineering with deep exposure to OTT/CTV environments
• Proven leadership of large engineering teams in a streaming or digital video business
• Strong understanding of video playback stacks, SDK integrations, and device fragmentation
• Experience scaling apps to millions of MAU across CTV platforms
• Familiarity with advertising ecosystems, analytics, and performance optimisation
• Commercial mindset - understands subscriber growth, engagement and revenue impact
