Senior Broadcast Engineer – IP Infrastructure

Location: Germany | Contract | Hybrid

I'm working with a broadcaster undergoing a major transformation from SDI to SMPTE ST 2110 IP infrastructure and they're looking for an experienced Broadcast Engineer to support the migration.

What you'll be working on

• Migrating large-scale broadcast infrastructure from SDI to SMPTE ST 2110
• Designing and optimising IP-based broadcast workflows
• Integrating legacy SDI systems with modern IP environments
• Commissioning, testing and troubleshooting new broadcast infrastructure
• Working closely with vendors and engineering teams throughout the migration

What you'll already be doing

• Working within live broadcast, media operations or broadcast infrastructure
• Strong experience with SMPTE ST 2110 and AMWA NMOS
• Solid IP networking knowledge (Multicast, PIM, VLANs, Layer 2/3, PTP/ST 2059)
• Experience delivering complex broadcast infrastructure projects
• Comfortable working in hybrid SDI/IP environments
