Senior Broadcast Systems Engineer (Cerebrum / IP Playout)

• Location: Paris, France - Onsite / Hybrid
• Contract: Immediate start → mid-July (extension likely)
• Rates: Negotiable

We’re supporting a major international broadcaster on the final delivery phase of a playout transformation project.

This role focuses on commissioning completion and system acceptance across critical broadcast control, monitoring, and IP processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete commissioning and final configuration of broadcast control systems
• Support system integration, testing, and troubleshooting across playout infrastructure
• Lead and execute acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) with the client
• Validate system performance, signal flows, and operational readiness
• Work closely with engineering teams and client stakeholders on-site

Core Technologies

• Cerebrum (primary requirement – control & orchestration)
• TAG Multiviewer / Monitoring systems
• Neuron (IP processing / signal conversion)

Experience with similar technologies will also be considered (e.g. control systems, multiviewers, IP broadcast tools).

Required Experience

• 5–10+ years in broadcast/media systems engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with broadcast control systems (ideally Cerebrum)
• Experience in IP-based broadcast environments (e.g. SMPTE 2110)

Proven background in:

• Commissioning & integration
• System testing & acceptance
• Troubleshooting complex broadcast workflows
• Ability to work in live or near-live broadcast environments

Nice to Have

• EVS Broadcast Equipment ecosystem (Cerebrum / Neuron)
• TAG Video Systems
• Previous playout or broadcast facility delivery projects
• Experience working directly with broadcasters or system integrators

Key Requirements

• French-speaking (client-facing role)
• Available immediately
• Comfortable working onsite in a broadcast environment
