We’re seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Go experience to design and optimize the core engines behind ultra-low-latency media delivery. You’ll influence key architectural decisions, improve system performance, and ensure the platform runs smoothly at scale.

Responsibilities & Challenges

• Build and enhance real-time backend components in Go
• Drive architectural improvements for throughput, latency, and reliability
• Optimize networking layers—including TCP/UDP, HTTP/1/2/3, buffering, and concurrency
• Improve observability, testing, benchmarking, and deployment safety
• Translate requirements into scalable backend solutions
• Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering best practices
• Maintain sub-second streaming across unstable network environments
• Ensure efficient fan-out and adaptive scaling under heavy load
• Handle packet loss, jitter, and bandwidth shifts gracefully
• Investigate rare performance and networking issues with strong instrumentation
• Deliver backward-compatible updates without disrupting live traffic

Skills & Experience Required

• Senior-level backend engineering experience with strong Go proficiency
• Background in high-performance, low-latency, or distributed systems
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP, UDP, HTTP/1/2/3)
• Experience with concurrency, async design, and Linux-based networking
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI pipelines, and performance profiling
• Data-driven engineering approach—measure, benchmark, then optimize
• Bonus: experience with RTMP, WebRTC, WebTransport/MOQ, C/C++, Docker, or CI/CD
