Are you an Advanced Software Developer with extensive experience in playback? Are you looking to lead a team and make your mark on the streaming industry? This opportunity is for you 👀

My client is a renowned streaming service with a commitment to sustainability, offering a climate-neutral streaming experience to millions of users across multiple countries!
As a Principal QA, you'll play a crucial role in supporting teams across the end-to-end video processing chain. From content ingest and encoding to delivery and playback, you'll collaborate and lead a highly skilled and passionate team of engineers.

What you will do ➡️

✨ Coach teams and individuals in designing, coding, and architecting for testability.
✨ Collaborate with teams and principal engineers to establish, implement, and advocate QA strategies, testing frameworks, and processes.
✨ Identify weak points in existing processes and propose improvements.
✨ Enhance QA capabilities.
✨ Develop and implement quality metrics and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of QA processes and shipped increments.

What we are looking for ➡️

✅ Strong software development skills at a senior level (Principal Level as a Developer or QA).
✅ Experience in testing software written in C  and Golang.
✅Additional experience in testing software written in Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, or React Native.
✅ Experience in the video domain with a deep understanding of the end-to-end video streaming chain.
✅ Demonstrated mentoring and leadership abilities, with a passion for developing, guiding, and growing team members.
