In this role, you will design and test database schemas to optimize performance, deploy and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases across various environments, and improve database performance through indexing and query optimization. You'll ensure database availability and security with proactive monitoring and incident management, develop robust data backup, recovery, and archiving strategies, and establish and enforce database standards and security protocols. Additionally, you will coordinate with third-party providers for seamless database upgrades and maintenance, ensuring a reliable and secure database environment.

Cloud Database Engineer Requirements

• Expertise in MySQL administration and AWS database services.
• Experience with NoSQL solutions (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of replication and high-availability techniques.
• Skills in query optimization and database lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python).
• Experience with monitoring tools (AWS Performance Insights, CloudWatch, DataDog).
